Poppies

I photographed these poppies in Vancouver, they are such a powerful image of both sadness and renewal. 

This was shot with the Holga camera, a plastic camera that takes professional film. The medium is filled with inherent chance and trial and error. I use Multiple exposure to expand upon the moment of time I experience something that I shoot and try to create a more submersive experience for the viewer.
